More than sixty years of activity, two major plants in Emilia Romagna and Veneto, over 230 employees and a Group turnover of 78 million euros. These are just some of the Coind Group’s statistics. A major industrial group founded in 1961 in Castel Maggiore in the province of Bologna, it has gradually become a solid reality on a national scale.
The company’s core business has historically been coffee roasting: here, Coind is a leader in the production of private label coffee, with 7 thousand tons of raw green coffee passing every year through the expert hands of the company’s specialists, to bring all the flavour and aroma of the best espresso coffee to appreciative Italian palates. Scrupulous selection of coffee beans in producing countries, systematic laboratory analysis, skilled grinding and roasting and premium packaging all follow strictly controlled procedures: high quality production processes are key aspects that characterise all Co.ind products.
In the coffee sector, Coind manufactures private label formula capsules that are compatible with top brand coffee machines like Nespresso*, Nescafé Dolce Gusto*, Lavazza A Modo Mio*, Lavazza Blue*, Lavazza Espresso Point*, Caffitaly* and Espresso Tuo, plus ESE pods, coffee beans and ground coffee.
Over the years, the Group has also created its own coffee brands: Meseta, Carracci and Attibassi, which offer refined quality blends selected in production countries including Africa and Brazil.
The company’s main mission is to offer client companies ethically sustainable high quality products for private label distribution. Coind is highly sensitive to the issue of environmental sustainability: its production processes, the packaging materials used, its certifications and its careful reuse of energy and of industrial waste, make the Group an eco-sustainable company.
Over time Coind’s production has diversified, widening to cover high-demand market sectors. The Group can offer a wide range of products from coffee to frozen foods, to cosmetics, personal hygiene and domestic cleaning and sanitation products.
