Legislative Decree 231/2001 introduced a new principle: companies can also be held liable when, as part of their activities, certain crimes are committed by directors, employees or collaborators acting on behalf of the entity.
To prevent these risks, the law requires organizations to adopt internal tools capable of promoting proper behavior and avoiding unlawful conduct.
Coind has chosen to have its own system of rules and controls, an Organization, Management and Control Model built to protect the company and ensure that every process is carried out with rigor, transparency and responsibility. The Model, approved by the Board of Directors, is updated over time to reflect regulatory developments and operational needs.
To further strengthen the culture of legality and protection of individuals, Coind has implemented a whistleblowing procedure that complies with Legislative Decree 24/2023.
