Legislative Decree 231/2001 introduced a new principle: companies can also be held liable when, as part of their activities, certain crimes are committed by directors, employees or collaborators acting on behalf of the entity.
To prevent these risks, the law requires organizations to adopt internal tools capable of promoting proper behavior and avoiding unlawful conduct.
